The Festival Series Online Takes Place on iPoker from 3-19 August, 2024

The Festival Series, best known as a live poker tour in Europe, with a strong focus on mixed games has announced it will stage The Festival Series Online at iPoker from 3-19 August, 2024.

The Series, which will run on 29 different iPoker skins will feature 70 tournaments with more than €1,500,000 in guaranteed prize pools. Buy-ins for the series range from €7.50 to €250, with most events in the €15-€50 price range.

While the full range of formats that are played at live editions of The Festival Series cannot be replicated for The Festival Series Online, there are Omaha events included, as well as No Limit Hold’em on the 70-tournament schedule.

Players can access The Festival Series Online via Betfred Poker, Grosvenor Poker or Bet365 Poker.

€100,000 Accumulator Main Event

The Festival Series Main Event is a €55 flighted tournament, with a €100,000 guarantee. It is one of several multi-day tournaments on the schedule, all of which are knockout tournaments, with various formats. Starting flights for the Main Event take place from 3rd - 19th August.

The Main Event format is an accumulator one, which means that players can play multiple starting days and will combine any stacks they manage to get through to Day 2.

Daily Events at The Festival Series Online

Most days have at least three tournaments scheduled, with more on the weekends, especially Sundays, when up to 10 events take place.

Each of the daily events is available at more than one buy-in level, with up to four (but usually 3) tournaments starting at the same time, for example, the opening event of the series is Event 1, The Warm-Up and has three differently priced versions, at €12.50, €30 and €125, all starting at 16.00 GMT on Saturday 3rd August.

The Festival Online Leaderboard

There is also a Festival Series Online Leaderboard, but please note that not all iPoker skins are participating in the Leaderboard promotion. Betfred Poker and Grosvenor Poker are participating in it, however Bet365 Poker is not.

There are over €10,000 in prizes, which will be shared amongst the top 50 players on the leaderboard. The top three players will all receive €1,850 packages to The Festival in Malta as well as cash prizes.

The €1,850 package to the Malta is valid only for The Festival Series Malta, which takes place from 8-15 September, 2024. The package consists of

Player Missions for The Festival Series Online

There are also several special missions that have been designed for players to complete alongside their participation in The Festival Series Online. These make use of the bespoke Missions features that Playtech’s iPoker software has built into it.

Players have to complete a series of poker related tasks and those who successfully achieve it receive tournament tickets and entries to special events and freerolls. These include things like knocking out ten players in The Festival Online PKO tournaments to receive entry into a €5,000 freeroll.

Please note that not all iPoker skins have opted to participate in the Missions linked to the Festival Series. Betfred Poker however is one of the rooms that is participating in this promotion.
