The 2024 Bitcoin Series of Poker (BSOP) is already underway on SwC Poker! Running from July 12th to August 4th, this year's BSOP is packed with diverse online poker events and substantial guaranteed prize pools.

Event Variety at the BSOP on SwC

This year’s BSOP includes more non-NLH events than ever before, catering well to players who prefer their poker to be more than just a No Limit Hold’em repeat-fest. SwC is famed for having a wide variety of mixed game formats and many of these are included in the BSOP tournament schedule.

Players may also participate in rake-free satellites to earn earn entries into BSOP events, including FLIP satellites that don't even require being signed-in to play.

Two Series Leaderboards

There are two separate leaderboards for the SwC Bitcoin Series of Poker.

Overall Leaderboard: This fully comprehensive leaderboard includes all 85 events on the BSOP schedule.
Non-NLH Leaderboard: This leaderboard is exclusively for events featuring games other than NL Hold'em.

Early Bird Leaderboard Bonus Points: Register before an event begins to receive a 1.5x point multiplier.

BSOP Main Event

The BSOP Main Event, scheduled for August 4th, features a guaranteed prize pool of 200,000 μBTC. Players can win entry through one of three Super Satellites running each Saturday, guaranteeing a total of 12 seats. Alternatively players can buy-in directly to the Main Event for 3,000 μBTC.

New for 2024 at the BSOP

Event #3 The Whopper: Buy-in 250 μBTC, this event has had its guarantee increased to 140 entries.
Event #73 1K PL 2-3-4-5-6 CARD MIX: Now includes PL Hold’em, PL Pineapple Hold’em, PL Omaha, 5-Card PLO and 6-Card PLO.
Event #81 500 NL HOLD’EM FLIP & GO: Players qualify via FLIP & GO Step 1 tournaments, choosing between standard NLH or Pineapple NLH FLIP. Extra tickets convert to regular 3k tournament tickets.

There are 85 tournaments on the BSOP schedule, with buy-ins ranging from 250-5,000 μBTC. Tournament formats include No Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha and several other less commonly found online formats.

Other formats for BSOP tournaments include Big O, 2-7 Triple Draw, Razz, Drawmaha, 8/9/12-Game Mix and H.O.R.S.E.

All deposits into SwC are made using Bitcoin and these are converted to chips.
