€2.5m Guaranteed Summer Festival will Run on iPoker from July 19th, 2024

The iPoker Network is an online poker network in which many different poker rooms share the liquidity. Online poker series take place frequently on the network and most rooms enable these series for their players to participate in.

Over the last 2-3 years, the iPoker Network has been one of the fastest growing places to play poker online. The network is now one of the top five places to play, based on liquidity (traffic) and is constantly upgrading its regular tournament schedule.

One of the ways that this growth is most noticeable is in the evolution and expansion of online series on the network.

The old online series brand iPops was ditched a few years ago and the network now uses more simplistic and descriptive names for its online tournament series, such as Bounty Hunter Series and the Elite Series. They run several large online poker festivals per year and also a series of shorter festivals, known as 'episodes.'

The guarantees for iPoker Festivals have been getting bigger and bigger each time and this year's Summer’s Festival is no different, in that respect.

Poker Episode 10 - €2,500,000 Summer Festival

This is the largest Poker Episode and Summer Festival that iPoker has run to-date. This Episode runs from 19th July to 6th August 2024 and features over €2,500,000 in guaranteed prizes, with tournament buy-in amounts ranging from €5 to €500.

Its a very inclusive festival and there are cheaper ways to gain entry to all events than just buying-in directly. Satellites with buy-ins ranging from €0.20 to €50 take place throughout the festival.

The schedule is heavily geared towards single-day tournaments, however it does include a mix of classic NLHE and PLO tournaments, PKO’s, and Flighted tournaments. There are three flighted PKO events, with a combined €200,000 in guarantees between them.

During the series, iPoker will also debut Single-Day Mystery Bounty Tournaments. Several of the events in the Summer Festival will use this format, which will continue after the series is over, being included in regular daily and weekly tournament schedules.

Summer Festival Player Missions

The iPoker software contains functionality that enables it to run ‘missions’ whereby players receive rewards for completing tasks assigned as part of each mission. Tasks can be simple, such as play a certain number of hands of a particular type of game, or can be more complicated, involving winning a hand with a specific holding.

There are missions that are set up to compliment the Summer Festival, with some missions awarding tickets to tournaments as rewards. There is also a revenue based mission to win a seat into the Festival’s €50 Main Stage event.

There is also a Summer Festival Freeroll, which takes place at 17.30 GMT on Wednesday 7th August, the day after the Summer Festival ends. It has a €5,000 prize pool and one of the missions, which is to play any seven tournaments during the series, will award entrance to this freeroll to players who complete the task. There are also other missions that also award seats into this freeroll.
