GG Million$ Week Main Event Final Table
GG Poker's High Roller GG Million$ Week has reached its final table

As a warm up to the WSOP Online, which has now begun, a special GG Million$ Week was staged on the world’s biggest online poker site. The week is nearly over, with just the final table of the Main Event left to be played out at GG Poker.

Nine players remain in the $7.5m guaranteed event, which has a $10,300 buy-in. In total 886 players took their virtual seats in the starting days for this event, which carries a first prize of $1,421,680, with the runner up also booking a seven figure payout of $1,035,959.

The chip leader when play resumes at 18.00 (GMT) will be D Kaladjurdjevic from Montenegro, who has 21.5m chips, just under 3m ahead of second placed Juan Dominguez from Andorra.

Dominguez has already won an event during this series (event #5, the $5,250 Sunday Prime Timer for $463,014) and also secured a 3rd place for $176,799 in event #49, the Sunday Super High Roller.

Martirosian Extends Lead in GG Million$ All-Time Leaderboard

There were 57 tournaments included in the high roller series, which unlike most tournaments on GG Poker, uses players real names for those who make the final table, creating greater transparency about who is playing. This lack of anonymity also ensures that the GG Million$ can have an all-time leaderboard.

Before this iteration of the GG Million$ Week began Artur Martirosian was the runaway leader on the all-time leaderboard and with a gap of over $2.75m to Michael Addamo, his nearest rival, there was almost no chance that he could be caught.

Neither Martirosian, nor Michael Addamo managed to chalk up any further victories, but Martirosian, with five final tables versus Addamo’s two, has extended his lead even further at the top of the all-time leaderboard.

Martirosian very nearly added to his ten GG MiIlion$ titles, with two runner-ups, two fourth places and a fifth place finish to his name. Addamo clocked up 4th and 6th place results.

Ole Schemion, in third on the leaderboard was the highest ranked player to add to his title tally, securing his seventh career GG Million$ win by taking down event #55, the $10,300 Super Monday High Roller for $134,442.

Samuel Vousden also moves up to fourth on the all-time leaderboard after winning his sixth career GG Million$ title in taking down event 46, the $5,250 Sunday Prime Time for $65,928.

WSOP Main Event finalist Nikolas Astedt, who is also prominent on the leaderboard did manage to secure a win during this series, which will push him up to seventh place on the all-time leaderboard once the standings have been updated. The Swede won event #9, the $2,100 Sunday Heater HR, defeating a field of 89 entrants to collect the $21,205 first prize plus a further $24,843 in bounties.

Samuel Muller Scoops An Incredible Four GG Million$ Titles

The player of the series was undoubtedly Simon Muller, who won an astonishing four titles during the week. The Austrian player was one of three players to win multiple titles and in doing so will debut on the all-time leaderboard just outside the top ten, having never won a GG Million$ event before this edition started.

His first success came in event #2, the $5,250 Bounty Hunters Super High Roller, in which he cashed for $39,818 plus $70,234 in bounties.

It was not until event 31 that he claimed his second title of the week in the $1,500 Thursday Saver HR. He outlasted 36 players in that event for a $17,014 payday.

His next victory came in event #49, the $25,500 Sunday Super High Roller, in which he won $292,069 after a heads up deal. His fourth win was in event #53, the $5,250 Super Monday Prime Time, netting him a further $67,488.

Other Multiple Winners

Another player to walk away from the series was Ukrainian R Romanovskyi, who took down event #8, the $25,500 Sunday Super High Roller with just 16 players for $227,251 and event#41 , the $1,500 Saturday Saver HR, where he outlasted 29 players for $19,293.

Hong Kong’s Ding Baio was the other multiple winner during GG Million$ Week, with victories in event #4 and event #10, which he won after a deal with a player named Oprahs Minge.

There could still be one further multiple winner, as Juan Dominguez, who sits in second place going into the final has already secured a victory in the series.

WPT Global ambassador Jon’ Apestyles’ Van Fleet very nearly won two events on the final day of the series. He won event #54, the $1,500 Super Monday Monster Stack for $88,204 and came second on same day in event #57 $3,000 Super Monday Saver for $31,803 after heads up chop.
