Asian Poker Tour Sponsor Natural 8 is guaranteeing 270 seats into the APT Taipei Main Event via exclusive APT online satellites, starting July 21st.

Online poker site Natural 8 is the the official sponsor of the Asian Poker Tour and will be running exclusive online satellites to APT Taipei. These satellites will start on July 21st and will continue until September 22nd, just a few days before the festival itself begins, with a huge 270 seats guaranteed into the APT Taipei Main Event.

This is the second APT event to be held in Taipei in 2024 after the record breaking stop that was held in March.

Asian Poker Tour Reveals Full APT Taipei Tournament Schedule

The Asian Poker Tour (APT), sponsored by Natural8, has recently released the schedule for the upcoming APT Taipei Poker Classic 2024, set to run from September 27 to October 7.

In collaboration with the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Club (CTP), the 11-day event will take place at two venues in central Taipei: the CTP Asia Poker Arena (APA) and the Chinese Mahjong League (CML), located 1.7 km apart.

The previous APT event in Taipei set records as the largest and richest poker series in the region. This year's festival aims to match or exceed those achievements, featuring over TWD 150 million (~$4.6 million) in prize pool guarantees.

108 Events on APT Taipei Tournament Schedule

There are a staggering 108 trophy events on the schedule, with a wide variety of formats. Buy-ins range from 2,000 TWD to as much as 300,000 TWD.

The flagship event, the APT Main Event, once again has a TWD 50,000 buy-in, with a guarantee of TWD 65 billion, which is equivalent to $2m.

Game formats include NL Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha (PLO), Short Deck, Crazy Pineapple, Mixed Games and various draw games. There is a 64-player Heads Up tournament and over 20 High Roller tournaments on the schedule. There is even a 19-game Dealers Choice event on the menu.

The schedule also includes live versions on two flagship tournament series that usually take place online at Natural 8. These are the TWD 15,000 (approximateloy $460) Buy-In Mystery Bounty Hunter and the TWD 80,000 (approximately $2,450) Zodiac Classic.

While poker in Asia has been stalling in various locations this year, with event cancellations in Vietnam and Macau, the events in Taiwan have had no such issues.

Qualify for the APT on Natural 8 Poker - 270 Seats Guaranteed

Starting on July 21st, Natural 8 will run satellites to the APT Taipei Main Event, which will continue until September 22nd. 270 seats in total are guaranteed, which is more than twice the 128 that were gauranteed for their previous event in Taipei.
